Terrestrial surface's shapes and processes have spatial and temporal manifestation. With regard to the time, we define in the present article at least four scales of importance in the understanding of the object of study of geomorphology: time of the nature, historical of the man, present and future. Drainage network reactivation and the intensification of erosion processes, related with changes in the level of local base, due to hydro-electric power station's dams; the phenomenon of anthropic desertification, produced by the retreat of the natural vegetation in areas of sandy soils are both indicators of the anthropic system's capability to influence geomorphological processes, imposing different rhythms to them, and changing its time scales of occurrence. Therefore it is possible to affirm that processes and shapes that would happen in the scale of natural time, begin to occur in the man's historical time scale and in the present time scale. In this way, we can say that the man's interferences in Earth natural dynamics result in geomorphological processes with anthropic genesis.
