We present the first confirmed records of Roger's Racer, Platycepsrogersi (Anderson, 1893), from Lebanon based on records from the semi-desert region of the northern Beqaa Valley. The species' presence in the country is supported by photographic evidence from three well-documented individuals, two of which were also genetically confirmed, corroborating the expected occurrence of the species as well as previous unofficial reports from local people in the area. This finding, together with our updated checklist, increases the number of colubrid snake species known from Lebanon to 16 and underscores the need for continued surveys in the region, particularly during different times of the year, including months outside the main field season.
