Sour passion fruit is an important fruit crop in the semi-arid northeastern Brazil, but the high salt concentration in irrigation water poses a major challenge for its cultivation expansion. This study studied to the impact of cassava wastewater biofertilizer doses as a salt stress mitigator on the growth, production, and postharvest quality of sour passion fruit cv. BRS Sol do Cerrado under saline irrigation. Conducted in a Campina Grande, PB, Brazil greenhouse, the experiment used a completely randomized design with three replicates in a split-plot scheme. Plots had varying electrical conductivity of irrigation water (ECw) (0.9, 1.8, 2.7, 3.6, and 4.5 dS m-1), while subplots used four cassava wastewater doses were based on potassium content (25, 50, 75, and 100%). ECw at 0.9 dS m-1 adversely impacted the plant's physiological indices, growth, and production. Cassava wastewater at 75% potassium levels reduced these negative effects for ECw of 0.9 and 1.8 dS m-1. Higher doses exacerbated salt stress damage. ECw levels above 3.0 dS m-1 decreased pulp pH and ascorbic acid. A biofertilizer dose at 100% potassium is excessive under these conditions in a semi-arid environment.
