On the basis of Clarke analyses, geochemical series of chemical elements of the intrusive rocks of El Sela are identified: two-mica granite: Ni-36- Mo-7.8- U-2.7- Co-2.4- Cu-1.8- Th-1.3; microgranite: U-55- Ni-20- Co-7.3- Mo-5.4- Zn-3.6- W-3.1- Cu-2.4; dolerite: U-37- Mo-18- Cs-11- Nb-9.1- Sn-7.3- W-4.3- Th-3.9- Y-3.6- Zr-2.9- Ni-2.3- Rb-2.2- Hf-1.6- Zn-1.6- Ba-1.2; and bostonite: Ni-54- Mo-14- Rb-9.8- Ta-5.3- Nb-4.4- Cu-3.3- Y-2.4- U-2.3- Hf-1.7- Zr-1.4- Th-1.3. Microgranite and dolerite have the highest U-contents whereas the two-mica granite has high Th. Microgranite and two-mica granite and bostonite belong to calc-alkaline affinity, while dolerite belongs to tholeiitic. Two-mica granite, microgranite and dolerite fall into meta- and/or peraluminous rocks, whereas bostonite fall in the peralkaline field. Two-mica granite and microgranite are located volcanic arc syn-collision granites, while dolerite and bostonite fall into within plate field. The temperature of crystallisation of two-mica granite ranges from 700 degrees C to 750 degrees C, microgranite from 750 degrees C to 800 degrees C, dolerite from 800 degrees C to 900 degrees C and bostonite ranges from 950 degrees C to 1020 degrees C. The contents of uranium, thorium and potassium were determined and showed high concentrations for radioactive elements.
