The Secretariat organized the first assessment of closed projects under the Special Programme in 2022. This assessment aimed to synthesize findings on management structures, coordination, communication and awareness-raising, project components, financing, and specific circumstances. In December 2024, the Special Programme Secretariat launched the second independent assessment.
