The overall purpose of this project-level evaluation is to assess suitability of the vision, strategies, and approaches of the programme’s two components: ‘Systems Strengthening and Scaling Up Drinking Water Safety in Bangladesh’ and ‘Sustainable WASH Services to Rohingya and Host Communities in Cox’s Bazar’, which are supported by Embassy of Sweden, of the larger project entitled ‘Water Safety for the Wellbeing of Women and Children in Bangladesh’. The evaluation will build knowledge based on effectiveness of activities actually implemented, based on the original proposals and logframes, and determine what worked well, where, why and under which circumstances. The aim is to learn with the intended purpose of identifying lessons as outlined in the proposal/agreement, in order to make future programming more effective.
