This study, conducted at Morocco's Green Energy Park, investigates the field behavior of a self-cleaning coating and cleaning solutions for photovoltaic (PV) systems. The testing period spans both rainy and dry seasons, monitoring electrical parameters and weather data. Cumulative cash flow analysis reveals project profitability within 4 years, underscoring its financial efficiency and long-term revenue potential. The study emphasizes the significance of medium-term financial planning and identifies key success factors for future decisions. Notably, the SWP system demonstrates the shortest payback period (4.38 years for energy, 4.86 for exergy), followed by WC, IGP, and DSD. These results highlight the positive impact of investments in self-cleaning technologies on initial investment returns. Performance ratios were calculated, illustrating monthly system performance alongside known rainfall events. During the dry season, the uncleaned system (UN) experiences reduced efficiency, while the SWP system achieves the highest at 91.79%. Subsequent winter rain events lead to the UN system's recovery, though it remains the least efficient. In contrast, the IGP system peaks in April at 85.46%. Overall, these findings reinforce the project's foundation, positioning it favorably for sustained success.
