Sour passion fruit is an important agricultural crop in semiarid regions of Brazil, generating employment and revenue. However, water shortages and low soil fertility limit crop yield. The combination of irrigation adjusted to crop evapotranspiration with organic sources, such as sisal residue defibration, may be a viable alternative for optimizing mineral nutrition and productive efficiency of the plants. Therefore, this study evaluated the effects of irrigation depths and application of organic sources on foliar nutrition and yield of sour passion fruit. The experiment was conducted in a randomized complete block design, in a 2 x 5 factorial design, which included two organic sources-cattle manure (CM) and sisal residue (SR) and five irrigation depths (100, 83, 66, 49, and 32% of crop evapotranspiration-ETc). Leaf mineral composition, fruit weight, number of fruits, and yield were evaluated. Maximum yield-14.13 t ha-1 was obtained with the application of SR associated with irrigation at 53.45% of ETc. The application of cattle manure promoted greater accumulation of nitrogen, potassium, and calcium, while the sisal residue proved more effective in enhancing sulfur and magnesium uptake, increasing the number of fruits and the yield of the sour passion fruit.
